Donal E. Butler
Director of Planning & Development
As Director of Planning & Development at Green Room Presents, Donald coordinates, and administers the planning, research, and development
function improving existing or creating new products, processes, services, ideologies, territorial expansion, and/or development of new ventures for
Green Room Presents.
Donald brings over 20 years of financial and business management experience to Green Room Presents. Prior to joining Green Room Presents, he
was a Vice President of Business Development at Affordable Homes Group, Inc., a developer of low to moderate income housing in the southern
United States. Affordable Homes Group works closely with federal government and quasi-federal agencies, such as HUD and Fannie Mae, to build
low cost housing and qualify potential buyers and renters for new homes.
Prior to his experience at Affordable Homes Group, Inc., Donald was an owner and manager of Global Energy Partners, an oil and energy products
company that traded oil in Asia and Africa. He was also an owner and manager of Finsoft Technologies, Inc., a financial software development
company.
Donald spent the most active years of his financial career at Scarborough & Company, Inc. a middle market investment banking boutique, specializing
in the work out of distressed assets, including distressed debt. His most noted successes were leading the acquisition and emergence of $40
million apparel manufacturer Gitman Brothers Shirt Manufacturers from Chapter 7 bankruptcy and the purchase and redemption of over $200 million
in credit card receivables from the Resolution Trust Corporation.
Donald is currently working on a historical novel and received an honorable mention in the Random House Short Story Contest.
