original idea. After identifying a theme or underlying message, he prepares a synopses. Jonathan may rewrite it several times to improve dramatization,
clarity, structure, characters, dialogue, and overall style.
Prior to joining Green Room Presents, Johnathan was an Editorial Coordinator for McGraw-Hill. He provided editorial support including writing,
proofreading and content editing, contributing to the widespread adoption of the latest ESL series, Excellent English. Estimated costs, developed
budgets, and tracked spending for editorial projects, keeping costs to a minimum in terms of vendors, deadlines, and material. Managed all editorial
corrections/schedules for reprints (Chicago Manual of Style). Hired, negotiated with, assigned and managed freelancers, procuring employees in
accordance with company’s suggested pay scale. Compiled, managed and edited art logs for consistency, accuracy, and relevancy
Liaisoned between international and domestic marketing and editorial teams, finding creative solutions to new product challenges through process
improvement. Evaluated manuscripts to correct errors in grammar, spelling, usage, and style. Developed grammar, vocabulary, and reading exercises
for online learning center.
