Live Entertainment Manager
As Live Entertainment Manager, Kati Hind is responsible for realizing the visions of the producer and the director or choreographer within constraints of
technical possibility. In addition to management and financial skills, she has detailed knowledge of all production disciplines including a thorough
understanding of the interaction of these disciplines during the production process. Kati deals with matters ranging from the procurement of staff,
materials and services, to freight, customs coordination, telecommunications, labor relations, logistics, information technology, government liaison,
venue booking, scheduling, operations management, mending delay problems and workplace safety.
Kati's previous experience includes being Duty Technical Manager at Underbelly during The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, an in-house and freelance
Designer & Operator throughout the United Kingdom, and Theatre Manager & Licensee, Bedlam Theatre, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Kati is computer literate with a competent working knowledge of the operation of Word, Excel, Access, Photoshop and In Design.
Basic knowledge of CAD. Programming and operational knowledge of the Avolites Pearl, Strand 500 & 300 series lighting desks, Zero 88 Sirius series
and the Zero 88 Frog Series & Illusion desks. Basic knowledge of Sound operation including Soundcraft and Midas sound desks.
Kati Hind is a graduate of Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Diploma in Theatre Technical Arts and University of Edinburgh M.A. (Hons) Economic & Social
History.
