Richard Belzer and the Belzonics

The veteran standup comic, actor, talk-show host and author Richard Belzer and the Belzonics are bringing
music, comedy and the unpredictable to the Comix stage for two shows. on July 19. Belzer began his career in
show business with a starring role in Groove Tube, the counterculture film that went on to become a cult
classic. Richard has been featured in every entertainment medium from off-Broadway (The National Lampoon
Show) to radio (Brink and Belzer WNBC) to film (Fame, Man on the Moon, and Scarface). Additionally, Belzer
starred in his own HBO comedy special, Another Lone Nut, and the Showtime series The Richard Belzer Show.
Most recently, Belzer has appeared in NBC's Law and order Special Victims Unit and acts as a talent scout for
Last Comic Standing.
